Building the Future

The Dharma Ocean vision involves looking toward the future in an effort to see ways of extending the teachings even further. At this time, the foundation is working to initiate practice centers throughout North America and elsewhere in which people may bring meditation into their lives. In addition, we are developing our facilities in Crestone, Colorado in order to appropriately welcome all those who wish to engage the Dharmasagara lineage deeply.  

 

The retreat center will soon expand with the construction of a 68-bed Residence Hall, and the implementation of a landscape design that includes ritual space, an amphitheater and earth shrine, walking paths, and gardens. The Dharma Ocean Hermitage will also soon be initiated, offering solitary and small-group retreat facilities not far from the main center. And following the success of the ‘Touching Enlightenment Teaching Tour’, Reginald Ray and other foundation teachers will continue to travel to our City Sanghas and elsewhere.

 



Dharma Ocean conducts ongoing fundraising to support these efforts. Those who are able are invited to contribute as inspired. All of us, however, are encouraged to take part in the foundation’s growing slate of events. It is through such participation that the Dharmasagara lineage — and the human brilliance this uncovers — will shine for generations to come.
