Dharma Ocean is a community of meditators around the world, following the path of embodied spirituality. Dharma Ocean is a non-monastic, householder-based lineage, a community of householder yogins and yoginis, who prioritize the practice of somatic meditation in their lives.
Although we are an inspired and vibrant community, and although there is a deep caring for one another, Dharma Ocean is not an organized religion. We are a large and diffuse community without any definite boundaries, but one linked by a common love of life and the somatic practices that open us to it.
A network of practice groups throughout the world provide opportunities to study the teachings and practices of the Dharma Ocean lineage with others. Within the Dharma Ocean practice community, some practice groups are led by Dharma Ocean teachers, who are authorized to teach and create specific curricula and retreats for their groups. Some groups are formed by Dharma Ocean meditation instructors who are authorized to lead guided meditations and offer mentorship. Other groups are created by inspired students who coordinate regular practice sessions by playing Reggie and Caroline’s teachings and guided meditations.
Self-Organize a Group and Find Others Who Share Your Interest
If you have an interest in connecting with other sangha members in order to practice and engage with others who share the same interest you can fill out the form to the right (below on mobile) and we will post it on this page of the website. Any interested sangha members can then contact you however you would like to be contacted.
For example, you may want to self organize a dharma art group over zoom, or a group of practitioners who are working with addiction, or you may want to find others you can practice with in person in your region.
This is not a place to advertise things you do on your own, but it is a place to seek sangha siblings who might want to join with you around some shared affinity.
Please check for an existing practice groups below before requesting that we post on your behalf.
If there is a group you would like to be a part of listed below, please contact the group organizer with your enquiries.
Groups in the process of organizing will be listed here. See existing practice groups on the page below.
Dharma Ocean Europe
For those in Europe, you can join an independent newsletter, not officially affiliated with Dharma Ocean, that will keep you up-to-date on events, programs, and other things happening inside of the European Union and other European countries.
Some practice groups have organized Zoom video calls as a way to connect and practice together. Information about these groups is listed below.
Information on Zoom video meetings for practice groups is listed here.
