In Way of the Siddhas, Reggie explores the roots of somatic meditation in ancient India. He says that the history of Buddhism was mostly written by monastics and reflects a “renunciation” approach to spirituality. However, there is a more unknown history of practice exemplified by lay practitioners known as “siddhas.”
