In this program, led by guest teacher Will Johnson, we will explore the foundations of the posture of embodied meditation over the course of three evening sessions.
In the first session, we'll work to establish the posture of meditation by exploring the three primary principles of alignment, relaxation, and resilience. Building on this foundation, the second session introduces the practice of breathing through the whole body. In the third session we integrate the individual pieces of the practice and explore ways to take the practice into life. In the third session, we'll also focus on how to work with thoughts in the mind and pain in the body.
This program is open to new and experienced meditators alike and will include talks, guided meditation, and an opportunity to ask questions.
