The Dharma Ocean lineage has much to offer us in times of life transition, and the transition from single adulthood to parent and family hood is a significant one. We intend to offer some view on this transition, opportunities for conversation and connection among parents, and meaningful activities to engage in with our children. The program is intended for parents with children of any age, to support our connection to this lineage and explore what that connection means for our families, and for the sangha. We hope that new and seasoned parents alike will come to join the conversation.
Children are included in all aspects of the program. It is not necessary to pre-arrange childcare.

Monique Rees has been a devoted student of Reggie Rays for the past decade. Her current path is finding the dharma in everyday life as a parent. She brings her practice to her work as a psychotherapist, supporting new mothers who are struggling, as well as women who have lost babies or pregnancies. She served as the community chair of the board of Dharma Ocean for 3 years. Monique lives with her family in Boulder.
