SUMMARY:In Love with Life: Awakening Through Somatic Meditation
DESCRIPTION: \n\n“The way to begin is with ourselves.  From being open and honest with ourselves\, we can also learn to be open with others.  So we can work with the rest of the world\, on the basis of the goodness we discover in ourselves.” \nThe somatic practices at the heart of the Dharma Ocean lineage are the ideal foundation for uncovering Bodhicitta: the awakened heart. In this six-week evening course led by Caroline Pfohl\, we will take an embodied approach to awakening\, connecting the practice of meditation to our actual lives. \nGuided meditation\, conversation and personal explorations between sessions will guide us toward wholesome and deeply fulfilling relationship – with ourselves\, our loved ones\, and the world. \nThis course is for people of all levels and all backgrounds\, with the only  pre-requisite a desire to open to and connect more deeply with your life! \n\n\n \nLocation \nDharma Ocean Boulder Meditation Center \n4676 Broadway \nBoulder\, CO \n\n\n\nRetreat Details\nThis program is full. She chairs the Dharma Ocean Foundation board of directors\, and holds the health and well-being role of Desung (Protector of Joy) for the community. Her spiritual journey has included three decades of study and practice in Chan\, Taoism\, and Tibetan Buddhism. Within Dharma Ocean\, drawing on lifelong work with healing and the arts\, she takes the lead in bringing somatic meditation into the arenas of mentoring\, relationships\, healing\, design\, and the arts.
