SUMMARY:Meeting the Body: A Boulder Weekend with Caroline Pfohl
DESCRIPTION: \n\nIn this Friday evening and Saturday event led by Dharma Ocean co-lineage holder Caroline Pfohl\, we will discover what our body holds for us—its beauty\, intelligence\, vastness\, and much more—when we connect with it in a totally direct way. \nThrough the practices of somatic meditation that lie at the heart of the Dharma Ocean lineage\, we will see how the body provides all the resources that we need for our lives. Being with our body in this way enlivens our relationships with others and enriches our experience of the world. \nThis event will include guided meditation\, talks\, and an opportunity to ask questions. \n\nLocation\nDharma Ocean Boulder Meditation Center \n4676 Broadway \nBoulder\, CO \n\n\n\nRetreat Details\nThe program will take place on Friday evening and Saturday: \nFriday\, March 6: 7:00 – 9:00 pm\nSaturday\, March 7: 9:00 am – 3:00pm (with a break for lunch* from 12:00 – 1:00 pm) \n*Lunch will not be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch. There are also several restaurants within walking distance. \n\nAbout the Teacher\n\nCaroline Pfohl is co-lineage holder of the Dharma Ocean lineage. She chairs the Dharma Ocean Foundation board of directors\, and holds the health and well-being role of Desung (Protector of Joy) for the community. Her spiritual journey has included three decades of study and practice in Chan\, Taoism\, and Tibetan Buddhism. Within Dharma Ocean\, drawing on lifelong work with healing and the arts\, she takes the lead in bringing somatic meditation into the arenas of mentoring\, relationships\, healing\, design\, and the arts.
