Reggie Ray at the Nondual Conference at CIIS

March 3, 2016 - March 4, 2016

Visiting-CIIS-Promo

Reggie Ray will be the keynote speaker at the Nondual Wisdom and Psychology Conference, presented by the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS).

In addition to the keynote, Reggie will also be leading a day-long workshop before the conference begins: Trauma as Spiritual Opportunity: The Role of Pure Awareness Practice.

Both his workshop, his keynote, and his plenary during the conference will center around psychological trauma, as we call it today, and how it is a well-known phenomenon in the Pure Awareness traditions of esoteric Tibetan Buddhism. Trauma is considered the ultimate obstacle to realization. Reggie will explore several practices to suggest how the ultimate non-dual state of the body can become an arena for the resolution of trauma at all levels.

Program Details

The theme of this year’s conference is “Realization as Resource: Trauma and the Heart of Healing”. Together, therapists, spiritual teachers, and participants will explore how a connection with the Ground of Being can be a resource for addressing and healing different forms of psychological trauma. We will also see how traumatic material can interfere with the realization and expression of True Nature in the body, and the ways in which psychotherapeutic and spiritual modalities can work in conjunction to uncover a deeper and more abiding sense of wholeness. No prior experience required. You can register for just the keynote, the one-day workshop, or the full event.
