One of the fundamental experiences on the meditative journey is opening the heart. Trungpa Rinpoche taught that we often begin by overcoming our habitual attitudes of self-aggression through the practice of maitri, or loving-kindness. As our heart begins to open towards ourselves, we find it can also begin to open to others. In this course, we will explore somatic practices for opening the heart and developing kindness for ourselves and others.
This four-week online course begins March 4th and runs through April 1st.
Course highlights include:
- The opportunity to explore Reggie Ray’s teachings under the guidance of one of Dharma Ocean’s senior teachers
- Six audio guided meditation sessions
- Eight audio teachings recorded during recent retreats with Reggie Ray
- Online discussion forums moderated by a Dharma Ocean teacher
