Vajra Assembly

July 25 - August 11

When we step into the Vajrayana, we step into the brilliance of our lives. Moving beyond the confines of habitual thought, we touch the fire of reality, burn away the unnecessary, and recover the wholeness that is our birthright.  -- Reggie Ray

Within an intimate and supportive environment, participants will be introduced to the view, practice, and fruition of the vajrayana according to the teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Reggie Ray. In this two-week retreat, Reggie Ray, Tina LaGreca, and Jessika Siorai will teach the view and the practices.

Familiarity and experience with Dharma Ocean practices and retreats are required to enter the vajrayana and attend this program. Please see the requirements listed at the bottom of this page and contact us with any questions.

About the Teachers

Reggie Ray draws on four decades of study and intensive meditation practice within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition to address the unique problems, inspirations, and spiritual imperatives of modern people. He is the founder and Spiritual Director of the Dharma Ocean Foundation, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the practice, study, and preservation of the teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and the practice lineage he embodied.

Tina LaGreca has been studying with Reggie Ray since 2005 and is deeply grateful for the teachings and practices of this lineage. Tina was formerly a high school teacher, an actor/singer and is now a psychotherapist in private practice in New York City, providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups. She, along with her husband, Marty Enright, leads Dharma Ocean of New York.

Jessika Siorai has had meditation at the center of her life for more than 25 years, and she has studied with Reggie Ray since 2005. In her teaching she is interested in sharing a meditative path that is not afraid of the messiness of life, inviting the full range of human experience. A lover of poetry, people, and remote mountain trails, she is a practitioner of acupuncture and traditional Taoist medicine, and facilitates the Dharma Ocean meditation community in Boulder, CO.
