Vajra Assembly

July 6, 2013 - July 20, 2013

The Vajrayana lineage and fire happens whenever Vajra sangha gather and practice together. Gathering as a Vajra sangha and studying and practicing together are our very dharma life. There is no substitute.       ~ Reggie Ray

When we step into the Vajrayana, we step into the brilliance of our lives. Moving beyond the confines of habitual thought, we touch the fire of reality. Burning away the unnecessary, we recover the wholeness that is our birthright.

Within an intimate and supportive environment, participants (both those entering the vajrayana mandala and current tantrikas) will receive an immersion into the view, practice, and result of the vajrayana according to the teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Reginald Ray. In this two-week immersion retreat, participants will be guided through the vajrayana teachings and preliminary practices (ngöndro) by Dharma Ocean Senior Teachers Beth Marvel and David Iozzi. Reggie will teach and meet individually with each participant during the second week of the program, and participants will be offered the opportunity to request transmission into the Dharmasagara lineage from Reggie. If the request is accepted, participants will receive transmission at Vajra Assembly and be fully qualified for Vajrayana Training Intensive in 2014.
