The Somatic Practice of Pure Awareness is the simplest and most profound teaching of Tibetan Buddhism. In this month-long meditation intensive, we will learn and practice the training stages of Pure Awareness practice in the space of deep retreat.
We will engage the journey of meditation for transforming our everyday experience, by sowing the seeds of awareness. Through the practice of extended retreat and deep somatic work, we encounter joy, pain, neurosis, and openness. In the process, we access a deep well of wisdom and compassion within our own experience that we can share with the suffering world.
Come for one, two, or three week segments, or for the full month.
Week 1: December 17 – December 24
Week 2: December 24 – December 31
Week 3: December 31 – January 7
Week 4: January 7 – January 14
Registration closes December 1.

About the Teachers
A student of Reggie’s since 1999, Neil’s teaching reflects an ongoing interest in the rich intersection of spirituality and everyday life. A partner, parent, and householder, he is curious about how deep engagement with this lineage affects our relationship with the ‘ordinary.’ Neil’s straightforward and accessible instruction encourages all of us to understand and integrate these teachings within the context of our varied and vibrant daily lives.
Norman has been studying and practicing with Reggie Ray since 2001. He is a co-founder of Open Sky Wilderness Therapy and specializes in helping families struggling with difficult challenges and life circumstances.
